On July 28th and 29th, two dedicated teams from C2 Coastal Bend took part in the 17th Annual LEAD First and Driscoll Hospital Back to School Health, Education and Diabetes Fair. LEAD First is a non-profit organization that is designed to address a great need by preparing, motivating and developing area at-risk youth to become leaders in education, achievement and development. The Fair included diabetes education, immunizations, vision and health screening. Numerous organizations were given the opportunity to provide materials on the services they offer to the community.
As a vendor, C2 staff set up a table to represent Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. It was a great opportunity to connect with the public and offer information about the wide array of services and programs we offer to Adults, In-school & Out of school Youth, as well as our Military Veterans and Spouses.
